Ivy B. Burg

Vice President, Associate General Counsel and Assistant Secretary


Ivy B. Burg is Vice President, Associate General Counsel and Assistant Secretary of Corporate Office Properties Trust (COPT). She negotiates leases, sales contracts, financing documents and other legal instruments involving the Company. Ivy joined the Company in 2004 as Associate General Counsel and was promoted to Vice President in 2007.

Ivy graduated with a BA in Religion from Haverford College in Pennsylvania and obtained her law degree cum laude from the Temple University School of Law and her MBA with honors from Temple University School of Business. Following graduation from law and business school, Ivy joined the law firm of Saul Ewing LLP, where she was an Associate until she joined COPT.

Ivy is a member of the Maryland, Pennsylvania and New Jersey State Bars and the American Bar Association. She is co-chair of the Board of Directors for BARCS (Baltimore Animal Rescue & Care Shelter) and she is a member of the Boards for the Center for Aquatic Life and Conservation, the National Aquarium Conservation Center and the National Aquarium Institute for the National Aquarium in Baltimore.
