
George Swintz is Vice President of Asset Management/ Leasing for Corporate Office Properties Trust (COPT). He is responsible for the financial performance of the Colorado Springs portfolio of office buildings and land.
George has 32 years of real estate experience in development, leasing and sales, build to suit construction and consulting with many national, regional and local Colorado Springs companies. Most notable efforts involve clients in the defense, high-tech and medical industries.
George earned his B.A. in Real Estate with a minor in Business Administration from the University of Minnesota. He became a licensed Real Estate Broker with the state of Colorado in 1981, and obtained his CCIM designation in 1995.
George is currently a member of the Board of the Economic Development Corporation of the Pikes Peak Region and heads the fund raising effort for the organization. As a past Board Member of the National Defense Industry Association, past Chairman of the Realtor Commercial & Industrial Society and recipient of the Commercial Realtor of the Year Award, George is well connected in Colorado Springs.
